Deathmatch: Spam - countermeasures
Spam is the largest threat to the modern Internet users. Within the last few years the amount of spam is new way beyond the level of ordinary emails. Clearly open source spam countermeasures has been proven over the last few years to be on the fore-front in this battle.
Since we have many excellent developers and speakers active with various tools/aspects of the spam countermeasures we will end the Linuxforum 2007 conference in an entertaining and special way. We will have each of the presenters make a short presentation of their selected tool, and the audience are fully allowed to show whether they like the presented tools by cheering or jeering to the presenters.
SSLUG, DKUUG, and BSD-Dk have on several occations held these "deathmatches" and had a lot of fun with this. In order to keep the session "somewhat" under control (this will most likely be close to impossible) Jesper Pedersen has been selected to chair this session.
The contesters
- Patrick Koetter: policyd (without the weight)
- Ralf Hildebrandt: policyd-weight
- Poul-Henning Kamp: annoyance-filter
- Flemming Kraglund: Milter
- David Schweikert: Postgrey
- Henrik Kramshøj: dspam
This session is not adviced if you have no sense of humour :-)
